| Florida Southern College's Department of Art and Art History presents its Senior Graphic
Design Show in the Melvin Art Gallery beginning April 18 and running through May 4. The
exhibit will include examples of both print and digital media. Tim Cox of Publix Super
Markets, Inc., and Allen Reed of Madden, Inc., are this year's jurors. The Graphic Design
Awards will be announced at 7:30 p.m. during the opening night reception on April 18. Seniors
exhibiting their works include Kristin Brown, Ashley Kuehl, Stephanie Montanez, Elia Moridon,
David Peak, Nathan Sligh, and Sara Timm. The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of many performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series.

On June 26th, 2008 AIGA Tampa Bay is partnering with the
Tampa Bay InDesign User Group to present Triesta Hall, department chair for Digital Publishing
at Full Sail University. This event will be held at the International Academy of Design
and Technology. She will present "Surviving
the World of Print Design, The ABCs of InDesign...by the Numbers,". If you are interested
in learning the fundamentals or brushing up on your typography, you won't want to miss
